The bad news is that temperatures will run 3-5 degrees above normal with muggy nights and afternoon heat index values near 100. Look for more fog across Southeast Texas on Sunday morning. The warm temperatures will continue to be the story over the next week in the Houston area. Stay safe if you are outside working to clean up after this week's storms. Plan to take some breaks and get some A/C if that is an option. There are Cooling and Charging Centers open across the area if your home is one of the many without electricity. The saturated grounds should have some time to dry, there is less than a 10% chance for rain over the next 7 days.
