We are still tracking only one minor disturbance in the Atlantic that has only a slight chance of becoming organized. The remnants of Pamela have been a problem across Central Texas.

We are tracking a couple of disturbances in the Atlantic, but neither one look very impressive right now. What will become a hurricane in the Pacific could bring rain to Central Texas before the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center is still watching a large, non-tropical low pressure system located off the coast of the Carolinas. The rest of the Atlantic basin appears quiet.

The tropics remain quiet except for this one area just off of the coast of Florida. Nothing has organized yet, but there is still a possibility over the next five days.

The Atlantic continues to be rather quiet for any tropical development. There is a slight chance over the next five days a week disturbance could develop off the East Coast.

Sam and Victor continue to move through the Atlantic holding steady for now but expect changes tomorrow. The National Hurricane Center has a new area it is monitoring for possible development over the next several days.

Sam and Victor are still crawling through the Atlantic. Both storms are weakening but should be around for several more days. There is only one name left on the 2021 list for cyclones but still, 2 months before the season ends.

We are still tracking only two storms in the entire Atlantic hurricane basin. Now that it’s October the season should slowly wind down, but I’m certain we are not done yet out in the Atlantic.

Tropical Depression 20 has now grown into Tropical Storm Victor in the eastern Atlantic. It is expected to become a hurricane and in today’s forecast, we are looking at where this storm will be headed.

Tropical Weather Forecast - September 26, 2021

Hurricane Sam now packing winds of 150mph. This compact cyclone will still be a major hurricane at the end of the week. There are several other areas in the Atlantic being monitored but all remain quiet in the Gulf of Mexico for now.

Tropical Weather Forecast - Sept. 25, 2021

The Gulf of Mexico remains quiet but the Atlantic is still very busy. Sam is small is size but very powerful. It is the 4th major hurricane (Cat 3+) of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season (Grace/3, Ida/4, Larry/3). Sam is currently a Cat 4 and could intensifying further as it turns to the right. Bermuda should keep a close eye on this.
