A man's body was recovered from the San Jacinto River in Harris County Saturday night after witnesses reported that he jumped in to rescue a woman who was in distress.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office Dive Team is assisting in finding a man who crashed an ATV at Xtreme Off-Road Park, and went underwater but did not resurface.

Officials say Leonardo Abarca, 27, owed Mustafa Marfani, 25, between $1,800 and $2,200 but "instead of paying his debt, Abarca killed Marfani" by shooting him in the head.

In Crosby, the deal is done. The regular school week sliced back in the fall from five days to four days, with each slightly extended by 25 minutes. While many in the district of 6,000-plus students support the move, others expressed concern. 

The Crosby Independent School District School Board has voted to move to 4-day school weeks.
