Texas AG blocks abortion law exemption

The Texas Attorney General's Office has filed an appeal that blocks an Austin judge's temporary exemption to the state's abortion ban. A district judge in Austin ruled on Friday that the state's abortion ban is too restrictive for women with serious pregnancy complications. The AG's office filed the appeal with the Supreme Court hours later.
