We are honoring and remembering the life of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Over the weekend a hero and legend died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 74. Congresswoman Lee served the Houston area for nearly 30 years.

If you turned on the congressional hearings into former President Trump's attempted assassination, you would have heard the phrase - you should be fired...multiple times. Those comments were aimed at the head of the U.S. Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle. That's because of how the agency handled the assassination attempt on the former president. Cheatle admitted that agents had been warned between two to five times that a "suspicious person" was near the Pennsylvania rally on July 13th. She says she's personally apologized to Trump after he was almost killed at a rally, but some lawmakers told her "sorry" won't cut it.

If you're watching the timeline on social media, it's clear Vice President Kamala Harris has a problem. We're seeing more and more Black people saying she is not the one. Especially Black men, who say her time as a prosecutor is a major issue where she incarcerated lots of Black males in California.

The announcement that Vice President Kamala Harris could now be running for president left the cash registers ringing. Her new campaign pulled in nearly 50 million dollars in one day after Biden announced he was withdrawing from the race.

President Joe Biden made it official that he would not be running for re-election. This came after intense pressure from his party following a bad performance at the presidential debate... Biden hasn't made any other major announcements and has been holed up dealing with COVID.
