Guard Kevin Porter Jr. has been told he cannot be part of the Houston Rockets in the wake of his arrest for domestic violence.

Rockets general manager Rafael Stone -- speaking to reporters Monday at the team's media day -- called the allegations against Porter "deeply troubling," and said when he learned of the allegations, he informed Porter's representatives that Porter could not be part of the Rockets.

Porter pled not guilty to felony assault and strangulation and is also under investigation by the NBA under its domestic violence policy.
