Woman faces new charge in Facebook Live shooting

New charges were filed against the woman police say shot a man on a Facebook Live stream.

Cassandra Damper is now charged with aggravated assault with reckless serious bodily injury.

Investigators say the 25-year-old woman shot Devyn Holmes in the head while playing with a gun. The whole thing streamed on Facebook Live.

The punishment range of the new charge is two to 20 years behind bars.

Damper was previously charged with tampering with evidence because police say she tried to wipe the gunshot residue from her hands and she initially reported to officers that Holmes shot himself.

Devyn Holmes is in the hospital.
