Which bible will Trump use at his inauguration?

President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in for a second term on Jan. 20, 2025, taking the oath of office with one hand on a bible.

There’s a lot of history behind inauguration bibles and the reasons why presidents chose them. The first one used at a presidential inauguration in the United States was on April 30, 1789, when George Washington borrowed one from a local Masonic Lodge.

Trump has not yet decided which Bible to use during his Jan. 20 swearing-in, according to a press release touting the release of the new bible.

Which bible did Trump use for his first inauguration?

The backstory:

When Trump took the oath of office the first time, he used two bibles: his own, and one used by Abraham Lincoln in 1861.

Trump’s mother gave him his personal Bible in 1955, two days before he turned 9, according to The New York Times. He had just finished the Sunday Church Primary School at the First Presbyterian Church in Queens.
