Westbound lanes of East Freeway reopen at Normandy after deadly crash
HOUSTON - Police say a pedestrian died after he was struck by multiple vehicles while trying to cross a freeway in east Houston.
The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. Thursday in the 12700 block of the I-10 East Freeway near Normandy.

Authorities say the man was attempting to cross the westbound lanes when he was struck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say all of the drivers stopped and were questioned.
All of the westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down during the investigation but have since reopened.
