It’s been 19 years since 17-year-old Jessica Cain went missing, but tonight her family and friends were finally able to pay their respects at a visitation service held in Liberty.

Jessica Cain disappeared without a trace back in 1997.

William Reece, who is currently serving a 60-year sentence for an aggravated kidnapping that happened the same year Jessica went missing , lead authorities to East Orem where Jessica's remains were found buried in March of this year. Reese was considered a "person of interest" in her disappearance.

Charges for her murder are still pending.

Friends of Jessica are glad she was found, but still have questions they want answers to. As for Jessica’s parents they told us off camera that the day that her remains were found they were relieved because they always knew that Jessica was with God. And whether William Reese had anything to do with her murder or not, they finally have peace.

Dozens of family and friends gathered at tonight’s service. A private burial will take place at a later date.
