HIGH POINT, NC. - The North Carolina woman seen in a chilling video released by police showing her narrowly escaping from being hit by a train in High Point has turned herself into authorities.
Jeseace Quick, 25, told police she was the person seen in the video released by the High Point Police Department taken at the scene by another driver as the accident unfolded.
The recording shows a vehicle stopped at a train crossing, making its way past the crossing arm.
Moments later, Quick ran out of the car screaming, just before the train crashed through, obliterating her car.
Police said Quick left the scene before they were able to talk to her, but Thursday morning she met with them about the incident.
Quick was later charged with no operator’s license and was cited for a railroad crossing violation.
According to state law, drivers must remain at the scene of any accident where the property damage is more than $1,000, or if a personal injury is involved.
