SUGAR LAND, Texas (FOX 26) - Two men were taken to a hospital after they were struck by a train, the Sugar Land Police Department has confirmed.
Police say shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, two men were walking on the train tracks near University and State Highway 6 when a westbound-traveling train struck them.
One of the men was taken by ambulance and another was taken by Life Flight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center.
The extent of their injuries has not been determined. The train is stopped on State Highway 6 near State Highway 90.
