HOUSTON - Authorities are piecing together a deadly double shooting at a north Harris County gas station.
The shooting occurred on the 15300 block of Ella Boulevard around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon at a gas station.
That's where, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said, deputies arrived to find an SUV at the gas pumps with two Black males, both in their mid 20s, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gonzalez.
A third person in the SUV was struck and is expected to survive.

Upon further investigation, Gonzalez said at least three shooters, dressed in all dark clothing and ‘all masked up’, exited a white sedan with ‘AR-15 type weapons’, and fired 50 to 70 shots.
The suspects then fled the scene following the shooting, Gonzalez said.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
Two women, who live in an apartment complex across the street from the gas station, spoke with FOX 26, but were afraid of having their identities known.
"You hear gunshots. You don't want to look outside. People, they're crazy. They'll run in your apartment to hide or get away or whatever. Or if they see you and you seen something you're not supposed to see, they'll come after you," one woman said.
Another woman said, "Clearly these people don't care, they're doing what they do. We've got to move somewhere safer."
