Just before 11:00 P.M. Friday night, a two-alarm fire broke out at an apartment complex in southeast Houston. Everyone made it out safely but four units burned and two more have smoke and water damage.  Arson team is now investigating the case.

Federal officials have arrested a man after he led them on a lengthy police chase, last night. He was finally forced to stop when spike strips flattened his tires on the beltway. The driver slowly got out with his hands up and surrendered. Dozens of federal and local officers were involved in the chase, no word yet on why they were chasing him.

 

No charges are expected against a wrecker driver that slammed into a corvette killing the driver. This happened at 1:00 A.M., on Westheimer at Sage in the Galleria area. Police say the corvette's driver was trying to make a u turn when he turned in front of the wrecker.

 

Three people are behind bars this morning for shooting and killing a convenience store clerk. This shooting happened at an Exxon station in Cleveland, Texas. Officials say one person shot the clerk while the other two stole cash and fled. Police say tips lead to the arrest.

“ We appreciate people thinking about us, calling us, thinking about the victim. We wanted to bring the individuals to justice. Now we have a great case. We'll add to it and take these guys and hopefully get successful prosecution for the young man that was murdered. “

The suspects' names have not been released but include two adults and a juvenile.
