Three people shot in southeast Houston

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Three people were taken to the hospital after being shot in two related incidents in southeast Houston on Sunday night, police say.

According to police, two people were shot -- one in the leg and one in the face -- at Sunnyside Park and drove to a gas station at Scott and Bellfort for help. The victims ran into the gas station, but the suspect vehicle drove by and began shooting, police say. According to HPD, the cook in the store was hit in the chest by a stray bullet that went through the front door and through a wall.

Two victims are in critical condition.
