THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Halloween in The Woodlands is full of treats this year and one, in particular, involves raising money for local nonprofits.
The Woodlands Charities announced its 4th annual Into The Woods Halloween Party and Fundraiser Saturday, October 30th at 6:30 p.m at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization was unable to celebrate last Halloween, so are looking to make up for it. Most notably, by raising funds for five local nonprofits.

Previous beneficiaries included Texas Children’s Hospital - The Woodlands as well as Assistance League of Montgomery County in 2018 and 2019, respectively. This year, however, five nonprofits will be the recipients including Yes to Youth Montgomery County, Community Assistance Center, The Woodlands Family YMCA, New Danville, and Rotary Club.
"Once you have seen the mission of each of these organizations in action you feel an automatic connection and you want to support their continued impact," event chair Will Warren said in a statement. "I have been able to interact with all of these nonprofits and their passion for their respective causes is inspiring."
"It’s also quite humbling to be associated with these groups who help out those in need across all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds," Warren added."

Attendees can take part in a costume contest, enjoy delicious snacks and drinks, listen to live music, and play entertaining games, all for a good cause!
"We want Halloween to be about dressing up in your favorite costume and having a chance to win a cash prize and an iconic trophy," Warren concluded. "But we also want Halloween to be about giving back to the community."
