Day 6 - The attorneys have approximately 9 hours left for witness testimony.. Ken Paxton pleaded not guilty to all charges accusing him of bribery, obstruction, and abuse of office, he has not made an appearance in the courtroom other than a few hours last Tuesday morning.

On the witness stand Darren McCarty former deputy attorney general for civil litigation. McCarty said it would send "a very odd message" for Paxton to appear in a Travis County district court in the Mitte Foundation lawsuit

Day 6 - The Impeachment Trial of Ken Paxton - Kendall Garrison CEO of Amplify Credit Union questioned about the Nate Paul loans and property foreclosure issues.

On the witness stand Kendall Garrison, CEO of Amplify Credit Union spoke about loans made to Nate Paul that were posted for foreclosure.

Former U.S. attorney Joseph Brown on the witness stand. He was approached for the job Brandon Cammack eventually got, but was concerned about "ethical conflicts".

The afternoon session begins with prosecuting attorney Rusty Hardin continuing his questioning of Brandon Cammack.

Brandon Cammack and request for credentials

Day 7 of the Ken Paxton impeachment trial - Brandon Cammack testifies about requesting official credentials from the attorney general as he worked as the "special prosecutor" he believed he had been hired as, on the Nate Paul allegations against federal and state authorities.

Brandon Cammack the outside lawyer hired by Ken Paxton in 2020 to investigate complaints made by Nate Paul on the witness stand.

As of 10 am this morning, the prosecutors have 9 hours 19 minutes left for testimony and the defense has 12 hours 14 minutes.

Presiding officer Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick explained this morning's delay, "lawyers from both sides had some issues to sort out before getting started."
