Texas DPS experiencing outage impacting driver license offices statewide

TEXAS - The Texas Department of Public Safety has announced they are experiencing an outage that is affecting driver license offices across the state.

According to a post on X, DPS drivers license offices are now closed for the remainder of the day on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Officials said, "Our staff is working with affected customers to reschedule their appointments as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

As a reminder, DPS offices, including driver license offices, will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, in observance of the New Year's Holiday.
