Texans fans remain optimistic despite playoff loss
HOUSTON - Despite a disappointing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans fans gathered at The Rustic remain hopeful for next season, expressing pride in their team's performance this year.
The atmosphere at The Rustic was electric throughout the game, with fans enjoying entertainment from a DJ, cheerleaders, a mariachi band, and the Deep Steel Thunder. Although the Texans fell short, the spirit of the fans was unwavering.

Marco Hernandez, known as 'Sexy Marco,' expressed confidence in the team's future. "I feel good. I feel confident. I think we’re going to surprise the world. We’re gonna knock the Chiefs out," he said.
Patty, celebrated as "Fan of the Year," shared her optimism: "It doesn’t matter. Any given Saturday if we play the way we did last week and if they don’t get the wind support. They’re done. We’re in."
Steve, dubbed "The Ultimate Fan," dismissed any notion of the Texans being underdogs. "I’m never an underdog. Never am I an underdog. You can say it. Anybody in this room can say it but I can tell you right now The Houston Texans are not an underdog," he declared.
Julianna Gonzalez and Mia, both Texans fans, praised the event's lively atmosphere. "Honestly it’s very fun they really did their big one with this," Gonzalez said. Mia added, "They did their big one even when we were waiting in line the band was playing. It was really good."
Despite the playoff exit, fans like Lekeisha Griffin and Rolando Sandoval remain loyal. "I'm so sad. It's devastating. I still love my Texans 100%. I'm behind them all the way. We have next year," Griffin said. Sandoval echoed the sentiment, "We did good. It was a good year for the Texans. We're proud of them. Always Texans until I die."
