Help identify suspect in robbery, sexual assault at Houston’s Memorial Park

Houston authorities released a sketch and a surveillance photo of a suspect wanted for a robbery and sexual assault in the area of East Memorial Loop Drive.

According to officials, in June 2020, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a home in the Stafford area.

Deputies arrived to learn that Argueta-Santos was caught sexually abusing a nine-year-old child at the home by the victim's mother, who was his girlfriend. Argueta-Santos was immediately arrested.

The child told investigators of more sexual abuse acts by the suspect.

"This case is a mother’s worst nightmare: to witness your child being sexually abused, and worse, by someone you trusted enough to invite into your home," said Lead prosecutor Charann Thompson. "This child is a hero for having the courage to speak out and put an end to their nightmare."
