Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land reopens after deadly crash

SUGAR LAND, Texas - One person died in a crash on the US-59 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land on Wednesday morning.
The two-vehicle crash shut down all of the northbound mainlanes of the Southwest Freeway at SH-99 Grand Parkway for several hours.
The scene has been cleared, and all lanes are now open.
