KATY, Texas - Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at Katy Mills Mall.
Initial information suggested that one individual shot another, and both parties fled the scene.
However, Katy later reported that no one was hurt in the incident.
While the exact location of the incident remains unclear, it is now believed that the shooting may have occurred inside the mall.

The Katy Police Department is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
Officials have confirmed that there is no active shooter situation, and the scene is under control.

The incident appears to be isolated, involving only the two individuals who have since left the area.
Katy police are looking for whoever opened fire in the Katy Mills mall. They say no one was shot, and they don’t know why this shooter was firing. Police believe it was two white or Hispanic males who came in, one fired, and they left the mall.
