Shooting at Vietnamese restaurant leaves one dead
The Houston Police Department is investigating a shooting at a strip mall restaurant in southwest Houston.
The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. at Huong Giang Hue Restaurant at 12345 Belliare Blvd. near Cook.
30-40 patrons were having dinner when two men came into the restaurant wearing ski masks, and carrying guns.
The men robbed the cash register, and ordered all customers to the floor. A customer was robbed, then wrestled with one of the men when he was shot.
The customer died at the scene.
The suspects are still at large. HPD homicide is working the case.
