HOUSTON - Houston police are responding to a shooting at Hermann Park near the Houston Zoo.
According to HPD, a security guard shot a woman around 2:15 pm Friday afternoon.
According to police, a man and a woman were arguing over a parking spot in the parking lot of the Houston Zoo.
The woman proceeded to hit the male before zoo security attempted to intervene.

The woman then hit a second security guard with her car after he was called to assist and stop her from fleeing the scene. One of the security guards then shot multiple times into the car striking the woman multiple times.
There were four kids in the car at the time of the shooting.
The security guard struck by the car was also injured. Both he and the woman were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
