Pasadena ISD student makes post on social media, later admitted to having gun on campus
PASADENA, Texas - One Pasadena Independent School District student is in some serious trouble after making a post on social media and was later found with a gun on campus.
According to school officials, a concerned parent brought the social media post to the school's attention.
Officials said the school then went on a safe hold, and the student was identified from social media.
The student was later pulled from class and admitted to having a gun.
The gun was found hidden on campus, school officials said.
Officials believe there was no intent to use the gun.
The student was later arrested by Pasadena ISD police.
