Montgomery County crime: Authorities detain driver while patrolling area affected by tornado

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Authorities with Montgomery County Precinct 4 arrested one man following a brief pursuit on Sunday night.

Officials said while authorities were patrolling an area affected by the tornado over the weekend, a deputy saw a suspicious vehicle driving around a construction zone with no license plates.

The driver of the vehicle spotted the deputy, turned its lights off and took off at a high rate of speed.
