Houston mother says 7-year-old daughter was groped while walking home from school; video of alleged predator
HOUSTON - Houston police confirm they are investigating a report of a child being touched inappropriately near the 700 block of Omar on Monday around 3 p.m.
7-year-old allegedly groped in northeast Houston
What we know:
The mother of the girl says her daughter is 7-years-old and was walking home from Travis Elementary School with her older sister and friend. She says the 7-year-old was walking behind the other two girls (this can be observed in doorbell videos) and says a man put his hands in her pants.
The three children can be seen walking down the street on doorbell cameras and a man can be seen following them. Moments after the girls and man leave the frame, the man is seen running the other direction on multiple cameras.
Neighbors say they have banded together to share information and videos to try and get this man arrested.
