Maxine Pontious search: 14-year-old found safe in Jackson, Mississippi
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - UPDATE: The Harris County Sheriff's Office said on Sunday that 14-year-old Maxine Pontious was found safe by authorities in Jackson, Mississippi.
Authorities said she will be returning safe to Harris County.
No other information was released by authorities.

Harris County law enforcement is asking for help locating a teen who was last seen on Tuesday in Humble.

According to Constable Mark Herman, 14-year-old Maxine Pontious was last seen on Feb. 20 around 6:30 a.m., in the 19200 block of Lakeshire Street, in the Belleau Wood East subdivision. She wore a white and light purple sweater with puffy sleeves, denim shorts, and white shoes.

Authorities say Maxine is believed to be in Beaumont, Texas.
