5-year-old girl reported missing located safe, back with family

HOUSTON - UPDATE: The search is over for a 5-year-old girl who went missing on Tuesday afternoon.
We're told 5-year-old Emerie Mitchell was located and is safe.
Houston police said Mitchell was spotted by a motorist at the corner of McHard and Quail Run.
Police stated the motorist initially passed up Mitchell, but turned around, and asked the girl if she was lost.
The 5-year-old told the motorist she was on her way to her aunt's house.
The motorist offered to help her and Mitchell got into the car.
After not being able to find her aunt's house, the motorists took Mitchell to the nearest police station.
Mitchell is back home safe with her family.
