Man shot and killed inside men's club in NW Houston

A man died was shot and killed inside a nightclub in NW Houston on Wednesday night. The incident happened at 11:30 pm at the Casanova Men's Club.  According to witnesses, the man appeared to be swinging what looked like a knife. The man was fearful for his safety and others, and the club's security guard shot the man. The victim died at the scene.

Authorities say the man was holding a cane.  The case is being referred to a grand jury to see if charges will be filed.  A security guard at a gentleman's club shot and killed a man after he says he came in swinging what looked like a long knife and threatening customers.  It turns out it he actually had a cane. The guard of the Casanova Men's Club says he feared for his safety and for others.  A grand jury will look at the case to decide whether or not to file any charges.
