Mahomes, addressing the media on Wednesday, expressed frustration over the incident, stating, "Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing," and noting that he couldn’t provide additional details due to the ongoing investigation.

The second incident reportedly took place on the evening of October 7, while the Chiefs played the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium. This time, the break-in was at a residence matching Kelce’s address in the affluent Kansas suburb of Leawood. Police reports show that around $20,000 in cash was taken, and the rear door was damaged. The crime wasn’t reported until early the following morning.
