Liquor store clerk fatally shoots robbery suspect, police say
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A liquor store clerk shot and killed a robbery suspect in southeast Houston Wednesday night, police say.
Authorities say a call about the possible robbery of a liquor store in the 8600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard came in at 8:33 p.m.
One of the employees had a concealed handgun license and exchanged gunfire with the suspects. One suspect was fatally shot.
Officers say they are searching for the second suspect involved in the robbery.
Anybody who sees suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact police. Authorities are asking residents to keep their doors locked until they complete their search.
