La Porte officials searching for elderly man missing since late October

LA PORTE, Texas - Authorities need your help finding an elderly man, 73, who has been missing since late October.
Investigators say, Bruce Hughes, of La Porte, Texas was last seen on Oct. 28, between 8:15 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. at his home in the 4900 block of Meadow Crest St. and has not been heard from since.
He has said to have walked away from the home with only what he was wearing, which includes sunglasses, a red t-shirt with a black zipper hoodie, blue jeans, and brown boots. Investigators with the La Porte Police Department said Mr. Hughes left the home without his wallet, keys, and cell phone, which is unusual, they say, "as he is of sound mind."
Authorities say he was seen walking southbound on N. Farrington Blvd. toward Spencer Hwy.
