Keith Sweat at Houston rodeo for Bun B's Birthday Bonanza: How to get tickets

For the fourth year in a row, Bun B will be hosting his own night at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

This year, he decided to celebrate his birthday along with the rodeo, creating Bun B's Birthday Bonanza. He sat down exclusively with FOX 26’s Coco Dominguez to reveal the first artist of his lineup.

What we know:

Keith Sweat will take the stage on Friday, March 7.

He’s only the first of several acts that Bun B will reveal leading up to the rodeo.

What they're saying:

"We wanted to bring somebody that was more of a legacy act, somebody that means something to so many people. And I think Keith Sweat personifies it," Bun B said.

"That’s so how everybody knows we’re setting the tone, right? We’re going a little bit different this year," Bun B said. "Still going to have hip hop, so stay tuned for that. But we're going to definitely bring a little bit more R&B this time and make a well-rounded birthday party. Because if you came to my birthday, you’d hear the music that I make, but you’d also hear the music that I listen to."

What we don't know:

Who else and how many artists will join the lineup.

What's next:

Bun B says the next artist announcement will likely come within the next 10 days.
