I-45 NB reopens near Downtown Houston after 18-wheeler crash

HOUSTON - Northbound lanes of I-45 have reopened after an 18-wheeler crash near Downtown Houston on Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 3:25 a.m. Tuesday on I-45 near I-10.

It's unclear what happened, but an 18-wheeler was left flipped on its side. A shipping container was also on its side.

The roadway was shut down for about four hours while crews cleared the scene. It reopened around 7:15 a.m.
