H-E-B truck burns on I-10 in Waller County

An 18-wheeler burned for two hours on I-10 in Waller County. No injuries were reported.

Westbound lanes of I-10 have reopened in Waller County after an 18-wheeler fire on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred before 6 a.m. on I-10 near Woods Road. An H-E-B truck flipped onto its side and caught fire.

The westbound lanes were closed while the trailer burned for around two hours. Around 8:35 a.m., authorities said firefighters were still working to extinguish hot spots.

The Waller County Sheriff's Office says everyone was removed from the scene safely and no injuries have been reported.

It’s unclear what was burning in the trailer.
