Traffic: I-10 back open at Texas, Louisiana border after wreck

A crash near the Texas-Louisiana state line shut down traffic in both directions on I-10 early Friday morning, but officials say the roadway is back open.

According to Texas DPS, both eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked and traffic had to be diverted.

According to Vidor Emergency Management, at least seven commercial vehicles became involved in a crash, but no injuries have been reported.

I-10 alternate routes

Vidor Emergency Management previously reported lanes would be shut down for most of the day, but according to the Department of Public Safety, the roadway is clear, and all lanes are back open.
