FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Today and early tomorrow are FOX 26 Storm Alert Days. The highest chance for severe storms will be late tonight into early Wednesday, but isolated strong storms could develop this morning as well. Otherwise, cloudy and breezy with a high near 80.

Tuesday is now a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day with the threat of a few rounds of strong to severe storms in place for Tuesday and Wednesday.

We have a very complicated weather setup on Tuesday. It looks most likely that we'll have light showers and isolated storms Tuesday morning, so wet roads for the morning commute.

There may be a lull for much of the day with cloudy and breezy weather. Beginning Tuesday evening through overnight, storms become likely and some could produce hail and damaging winds.

Houston is under an enhanced Category 3/5 risk for severe weather on Tuesday and a 2/5 risk on Wednesday. 

All hazards are possible, including the risk of a few tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain that could lead to flooding.
