Houston shooting: 10-year-old injured by stray bullet, police report
HOUSTON - Houston police are at the scene of a shooting where a child was injured in the South Side area.
Officers were called to the 7100 block of Scott Street after reports of a shooting that began as an altercation in a parking lot.
According to police, one person shot at another person, but a stray bullet hit a 10-year-old in the leg.
The young boy was taken to a fire station to receive help from those who were at the scene. He was then taken to the hospital in stable condition.
