BAYTOWN, Texas - Authorities are piecing together what led to a man's death Sunday morning in east Harris County.

Details are limited, but Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the shooting could possibly be from a case of domestic violence. This was after deputies found an unidentified man shot to death in front of a home in the 1300 block of Wallflower in Baytown around 6:30 a.m.
It's unclear what led up to the deadly shooting, but an investigation remains underway. However, we're told a woman is being detained and questioned over the man's death.
What we do know is the couple was previously married and it appears there was a disturbance that broke out inside the home that escalated outside. However, it's unclear if the shooting occurred outside or inside the home, as of this writing.
The woman is cooperating with the investigation and call records show authorities were previously called to the area once before, but Sheriff Gonzalez was unsure if it was at the exact address they were responding to Sunday.
This is a developing story and will continue to be updated as more information becomes available.
