Officers who responded to the scene were advised that the shooting was the result of a road rage incident.

According to HPD, witnesses reported that Holloman was in a vehicle with a male traveling westbound on West Airport Boulevard when she was shot by someone in a white Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows.

It’s unclear how many people were in the Jeep.

Police say it’s possible that the suspect’s Jeep has bullet holes in the rear of the vehicle due to the male in Holloman’s vehicle returning gunfire as the suspect vehicle was fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
