Houston police officer arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A Houston police officer was arrested late Saturday night for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
According to Texas DPS, a pickup truck driven by HPD Officer William Lacey, 46, was pulled over around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday on North Park Drive at 494.
Authorities say Lacey displayed signs of intoxication and a standard field sobriety test was administered. According to Texas DPS, Lacey was arrested for intoxication.
The Houston Police Department says Officer Lacey has been with the department for 20 years and has been relieved of duty pending the investigation.
