Houston man wanted, accused of sexual assault of a child; reward offered

HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division need the public's assistance in finding 29-year-old Eric Mejia. He is wanted for sexual assault of a child between the ages of 14 and 17.
On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Houston Police Officers received a report of a sexual assault of a child that happened in the 3300 block of Trout St. in Houston.
During the investigation, the victim made an outcry and detectives learned that Mejia sexually assaulted the victim from February 1st through on or about June 6th (2023).
Mejia is an Hispanic male, approximately 175 lbs. with brown eyes and short dark hair.
