HOUSTON - One woman was sentenced in connection to a February jugging case in Houston that left a woman paralyzed.
19-year-old Zy'Nika Anesha Woods plead guilty previously after 18-year-old Joseph Harrell also plead guilty to aggravated robbery causing serious bodily injury.

According to court documents, Woods was sentenced to 10 years adjudication.
Harrell was recently sentenced to 30 years behind bars for the February 2023 attack on Nhung Truong that left the 41-year-old woman in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down.
Harrell was seen on surveillance video picking up Truong body-slamming her to the ground.

The money stolen, over $4,000, was being used to purchase tickets for the family's trip to Vietnam. Through some community help, the family managed to take the trip and return to Houston with Truong's mother.
Harrell must serve at least half his sentence before being eligible for parole, and he cannot appeal the conviction or the sentence, according to the terms of the agreement. In exchange for the guilty plea, two other charges connected to other attacks were dismissed.
