HOUSTON - The Houston Independent School District says their website is back up and running after experiencing technical issues on the first day of virtual classes.
Parents on social media were reporting trouble accessing the district’s website on Tuesday morning.
HISD said they were working swiftly to resolve the issues. They said students could still access the HUB through a direct link at https://houston.itslearning.com
Before noon, the district said the website and HUB were working again.
All Houston ISD students are beginning the school year with virtual classes. After six weeks of virtual instruction, face-to-face instruction will begin on October 8. The district says the date is subject to change based on COVID-19 conditions and recommendations from health officials.
