HOUSTON - Dozens of residents were displaced after a 3-alarm fire at an apartment complex in west Houston on Thursday night.
Firefighters were dispatched to the apartment complex in the 3000 block of Greenridge around 8:30 p.m.

According to the fire department, the blaze was upgraded to a two-alarm fire around 9:45 p.m. and a three-alarm fire by 10 p.m. Officials say the wind was moving the fire.
The fire was tapped out around 10:30 p.m. About 120 to 130 firefighters had responded to the scene, according to officials.
The fire department says residents from 50 to 60 units were displaced due to loss of power or damage from smoke and water.
The Red Cross was requested to assist displaced residents from the damaged apartments, and METRO buses were brought in as warming stations.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
