Houston crash: Driver shot, rams into apartment fence near West Houston

HOUSTON - A person was hospitalized after being shot and crashing their car into a fence, according to officials.

On Sunday, Houston Police Department units responded to the Ashford Court Apartments at 3718 Ashford Villa Lane for reports of a crash, sources say.

One person who was in a vehicle was shot and hit the back of a residence.

They were taken to a local hospital and their condition is unknown.

HPD Major Assaults is investigating the incident.
