Houston - A man was found shot to death Monday after his vehicle crashed in north Houston.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constables' Office deputies responded to 100 North Sam Houston Parkway East service road (Beltway 8). Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 46-year-old man deceased in a red Volvo sedan with a gunshot wound. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The specific cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The westbound North Sam Houston Tollway connector ramp to Interstate 45 northbound was closed for the investigation.
