Houston crime: Surveillance video captures attempted armored truck robbery, suspects at large
HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating after an attempted robbery of an armored vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the incident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. in the 9400 block of Cullen.

Authorities said when officers arrived, they learned a courier was trying to reload an ATM machine.
As the courier was reloading the ATM machine, four to five males, armed with pistols got out of a white Chevy.
Gunshots were fired between the armed car driver and the suspects, police said.

Fortunately, no one was struck during the shooting.
Following the shooting, police said one of the suspects jumped back into the getaway car, and left the other four suspects on foot.
The four suspects on foot then found a woman in her car, took her out at gunpoint, carjacked the car, and fled the scene, police said.

Officers stated they checked the area for the vehicles and both were located nearby.
Currently, all suspects are all at large at the moment. No descriptions have been released.
Authorities are reviewing surveillance video and speaking with witnesses.
