Second armored truck robbed in Houston this week

Harris County sheriff's deputies are investigating an armored truck robbery in northeast Harris County on Friday afternoon.

Deputies were called to the Pine Forest Shopping Center on Uvalde Road after the armored truck was robbed by two male suspects.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the males fled the scene in a white vehicle after taking a bag from employees.

Investigators have not released any information about the suspects or the robbery at this time.

Second Armored Truck Robbery This Week

This is the second armored vehicle robbery this week.

On Tuesday, four to five suspects in a white Chevy robbed an armored car driver while they were reloading an ATM in the 9400 block of Cullen Boulevard. 

Gunshots were fired between the armed car driver and the suspects, but no one was hit.

Some of the suspects carjacked a woman and fled the scene.

Police have not announced any arrests in that robbery.
